What's a Newsfeed?

Newsfeeds are an up-and-coming Internet feature which allow website authors to let regular visitors know when updates are made: this will be the Newsfeed's main use for denbury.net.  Whenever you see an orange button on a website, there will be a feed available.

The technology behind newsfeeds can also be used to share regularly-updated content with other sites.

To take advantage of this, you will need either:

• A browser that can handle newsfeeds, such as Internet Explorer 7, Opera or Firefox —.
  

  or:

• A dedicated newsfeed reader.  This is a separate program designed to collect and display information from newsfeeds.  You can choose from a variety of readers, some free, or see a screenshot of my reader, FeedDemon, in action.
